Fabulous! What a great, alternate post-prologue opening shot this would have made for the original film: Annie hikes into town and spots the flyer in the window of the diner. As she's gazing at a close-up of the flyer, smiling in that "Gosh, aren't children great?"-kinda way of hers, Crazy Ralph presses his face against the glass (audience jumps at the false scare) and does his infamous "Goin' to Camp Blood, ain't ya? You're doomed...you're all doomed" shtick(!). In Part II, the new counselors could spot the same flyer on the side of a building somewhere, this time it's torn and tattered, weathered with age.
